09/04/24: super servers Zoelpop ensure our visit was fast efficient and super tasty. My wife and I loved the enchilada special here. My personal favorite is having cheese enchiladas with a little bit of fresh cut onions on top! What's the best food around , thank you for being here!!!! Earlier post: We were in Colorado for a week. Where do we go as we get off the plane? Yes, here for an Enchilada dinner! Love it!

This location in a strip shopping n g center is the best El Fenix Staff is great. The combination plattere like the Durango is a great way to sample the menu.

This is one of the oldest locations in Dallas for El Fenix. Used to go to El Fenix every week for 20 to 30 years. If they don't change things, then it is still the best tex-mex food anywhere. The hot sauce, chips, chili, and the taco meat are all the best Mexican food around. Our waitress was Iris, she was awesome and we will be coming back. We love El Fenix staying around for over 100 years now

We went to the Webb Chapel Rd El Fenix to celebrate a 91st birthday with great nieces and great nephew, and great-great niece and great-great nephew. Pedro C went above and beyond to care for us and even added to our celebration with a special birthday dessert. It was excellent service and excellent food.

The presence of El Fenix has been a part of Dallas culture since 1918. Catering, dine-in and curbside pick-up. Quick service and delicious food. Traditional Mexican Food, unlimited chips and salsa. A small benefit worth it, as some places charge for chips now. In addition to a traditional menu they have street tacos and El Pastor, (pork). I went with the Juarez and my husband got fajita beef nachos. The food came quickly and it was hot! Yum. We got a fresh basket of chips and more salsa too! We ate too much, but didn't eat it all. They gave us a to go container and a bag for the chips! They sale their chips, salsa and pecan pralines by the cashier where you pay. Overall a great visit. We're definitely going to return. P.S. hand sanitizer was posted throughout the restaurant including in the restrooms.

I'm not a local but I go here at least twice every time I'm in town visiting family, unbeatable foodprice and all the people are very nice. I highly recommend, the perfect family restaurant.

This place is outstanding! Great service by Zoel, who went out of his way to make sure we knew the best items on the menu & to make our experience memorable. The food was perfect, made from scratch, and exceeded our expectations in every way. This is definitely the best Tex-Mex in Dallas, we will make it a point to stop here anytime we are in town! I highly recommend this restaurant, and can’t wait to come back again.
